Picked this up as a birthday gift for my dad who's impossible to shop for. He called me three days later asking me to order him another bag before his first one was even halfway done. I opened the second bag myself just to see what the fuss was about. Full body, nutty, zero bitterness — I'm hooked. We're both on the subscription now.

Most "Dark Roasts" Are Just Burnt Beans Hiding Behind Strong Marketing.

You've been there. The bag looks premium. The name sounds intense. Then you brew it and get bitterness with no nuance, sharpness with no depth.

Roasting dark doesn't mean roasting well. Most brands use the roast level to mask low-quality beans. We don't.
"Dantora Deep Roast starts with 100% Arabica and roasts to the precise point where flavor complexity peaks — and stops."

Brew Your Best Cup

Great coffee isn't complicated — it just needs the right conditions. Follow these four steps and your first cup of Deep Roast will be exactly what it was meant to be.

195–205°F. Just off the boil. Never boiling.

2 tbsp per 6oz of water. Adjust to your taste.

Grind right before brewing. This is the secret.

French Press, Pour-Over, or Drip. All excellent.

Questions? We Have Answers.

Is the Deep Roast bitter?

No. Bitterness comes from over-roasting low-quality beans. We use 100% Arabica and roast to the precise flavor peak — the result is bold and full-bodied without any harsh aftertaste.

Why whole bean and not pre-ground?

Coffee starts losing flavor within minutes of grinding. Whole beans stay fresh for weeks. Grinding right before brewing is the single biggest upgrade you can make to your morning cup.

What grinder should I use?

Any burr grinder works well. Blade grinders are fine to start. For Deep Roast, a medium-coarse grind is ideal for French Press; medium-fine for pour-over or drip.

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?

Yes. If you're not completely satisfied with your first bag, contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right — full refund or replacement, no questions asked.

Can I drink Deep Roast with milk or creamer?

Absolutely — and it's excellent that way. The full body and natural cocoa depth of Deep Roast hold up beautifully against milk, oat milk, or creamer without getting lost or turning muddy. Black coffee purists will love it straight, but if you prefer a latte-style cup at home, Deep Roast is one of the few dark roasts that actually improves with milk rather than just masking bitterness.
